Three former high school standouts recently picked up Heart of America Athletic Conference honors.
Graceland University junior and 2011 Blue Springs South graduate Courtney Codilla was named second team all-conference after helping lead the soccer team to regular-season and conference tournament championships.
Kelsi Martin, a sophomore on Graceland’s volleyball team and another 2011 South grad, was a second team all-conference pick after boosting the squad to second-place conference finishes in the regular season and tournament. Kelsey Wagner, a 2012 South grad and freshman at Avila, earned honorable mention honors.
