The Blue Springs girls basketball team never let Fort Zumwalt West get any breathing room.
The Wildcats didn’t allow West to score in double digits in any quarter and the result was a 55-23 triumph in the first round of the Visitation Tournament Saturday in St. Louis.
Karyla Middlebrook paced Blue Springs with 10 points and Lizzy Wendell added 10.
The Cats (6-1) led 13-5 at the end of the first period and 29-9 at half.
