Missouri Mavericks president and general manager Brent Thiessen announced Friday that the Central Hockey League club has extended head coach Scott Hillman’s contract for two more seasons. Hillman will guide the Mavericks at least through the 2013-14 season.
Overall, Hillman has led the Mavericks to a 107-71-18 regular-season record in three seasons for a .592 winning percentage, and the Mavericks have made the playoffs in each of their first three seasons. Missouri is also the only team in the CHL to have won a playoff series in each of the last three seasons.
