The Blue Springs girls swimming and diving team will take three No. 1 seeds and a pair of No. 2 seeds into the finals of the Kansas City Classic today.

She also helped the 200 medley relay team earn a second seed with a state-qualifying time of 1:56.77. Alyssa Aubuchon grabbed the third seed in the 50 freestyle (25.81) and Liz Oles (500 freestyle and 100 butterfly), Lindsey Meyer (100 backstroke) and the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams also earned spots in the finals with top-eight finishes.

Lee’s Summit North’s Haley Hynes claimed a pair of top seeds, topping the field in the 100 butterfly (1:01.34) and the 100 backstroke (58.45). Karlee Benefiel (100 butterfly and 200 freestyle) and Felicia Bender (500 freestyle and 200 IM) also earned two berths in the finals each for the Broncos.

The finals are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at Henley. Diving is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m.
