The Missouri Mavericks announced Tuesday the team’s training camp schedule, including open practices and the team’s intra-squad scrimmage, is set for Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Independence Events Center.
The squad’s training camp begins Monday, Oct. 8. The intra-squad scrimmage will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, and doors will open at 6 p.m. at the IEC. The event is free to the public but the Mavs are asking for donations to benefit the Jr. Mavs youth hockey program. After the scrimmage, Mavs players will be available on the concourse for autographs and pictures.
There were also by select practices open to the public during training camp from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, Tuesday, Oct. 9, and Friday, Oct. 12 ; from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10; and from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.
Fans attending training camp practices are asked to enter through the Community Ice doors.
The Mavs open their season Friday, Oct. 19, as they travel to Denver to take on the CHL’s newest team, the Denver Cutthroats.
