Although her team’s season ended Friday evening, former Grain Valley softball star and Park University freshman Taylor Lipps capped a first team all-conference season in which the Pirates collected the most wins in program history.
Park was swept by Williams Baptist, 5-0, 3-2 in the American Midwest Conference Tournament championship series to finish the season 34-16.
Lipps’ season earned her a selection to the all-AMC first team after she finished with a .376 batting average with three home runs, 34 RBIs, 13 doubles and 35 runs scored.
