It’s no surprise, but the Class 3 District 14 champion Grain Valley softball team was well represented on the all-district team.

Six Eagles were first-team selections while two more were added to the second team. Earning first-team honors were catcher Sydney Fry, pitchers Brooklynne Simbeck and Alexis Worden, infielders Taylor Mays and Courtney Folk and outfielder Mikayla Akers. Infielder Kelsi Hill and outfielder Monica Hudson were named to the second team.

Oak Grove infielder Laurel Sutter, outfielder Jenelle Mausbach and utlity/designated player Katie Carr also garnered first-team status while catcher Savannah Taylor and outfielder Devin Braley picked up second-team recognition.
