The Blue Springs senior notched a season-high 27 points to lead the Wildcats to a 70-55 victory over Carthage in the opening game of the Carl Junction Tournament.
Cody Isabel added 12, Walter Sorrells 10 and Gaylin Dinkins 10 in powering Blue Springs (8-5).
“We came out with a lot of pep and enthusiasm,” Blue Springs coach Adam Jones said. “We did a lot of good things defensively early.”
Blue Springs led a 37-28 at halftime.
The Wildcats face Seneca at 7 tonight and the host school at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the round-robin tournament.

Grain Valley dominated Excelsior Springs in Thursday’s Missouri River Valley Conference West contest.
The Eagles rolled to a 42-13 victory at Excelsior Springs High School after building a 26-3 lead by halftime.
Kelsi Hill and Sarah Turner totaled eight pointes apiece to lead Grain Valley (9-5-, 3-0 conference).
“We did what we needed to do and it was good coming back from the Pleasant Hill win and keeping our focus” Grain Valley coach Randy Draper said.
PLEASANT HILL 32, OAK GROVE 18: The Panthers continued to struggle offensively in a Missouri River Valley Conference West loss at Pleasant Hill Thursday night.
Jill Schneiders scored 10 points as Oak Grove (3-9, 0-3) suffered its fifth consecutive loss.
“We’re playing good enough defense to win,” Oak Grove coach Mike Cox said. “We just can’t score. To hold a quality team like Pleasant Hill to 32 points is pretty good.”
