The Fort Osage girls basketball team didn’t exactly shoot the lights out Wednesday night, but the Indians aren’t about to complain about their 38-24 win over Ruskin.

The Indians (11-9) notched their second straight win by limiting Ruskin (12-9) to no more than seven points in each period in the game at Fort Osage High School. Raven Bunn led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds while younger sister Paige Bunn notched 14 points and four steals. Asia Cole added six points and nine boards and Allie Stevens came off the bench to pull down eight rebounds and swipe three steals.

“It was kind of a slow-paced game,” Fort Osage coach Dawn Williams said. “But we took care of business. We kind of had some peaks and valleys, but the kids responded.”
