12:07 p.m. -- Well, Randi Beltz has made history.

Three years ago, the St. Clair 112-pounder made the state semifinals, earning the first state medal for a female wrestler.

This year, she surpassed that, pinning Bryson Dixon of St. Joseph Benton to take third place, which is now the highest finish for a female wrestler ever.

This is a nice way to end her career, as she is by far the best female wrestler in state history.
