11:53 a.m. -- Dylan Meisenheimer just scored a huge win for Oak Grove at 171.

Meisenheimer won in double overtime on a stall call against Platte County’s Joe Pace. That puts the Panthers 11 points up on Platte County, who came into today in third place, after Riley Glasgow (215) won his match.

Oak Grove went 4-0 in this round, taking a big step forward. However, Bob Glasgow said they're not out of the woods yet.

"The team no one's talking about is St. Joseph Benton," he said. "We're still in a real battle to get a trophy."

The Panthers are in a three-way fight for the last two slots with Excelsior Springs and Benton, who all had good wrestleback rounds.

Oak Grove still needs to win the third-place matches and hope they can do enough damage to secure a third or fourth-place trophy.

In Class 4, Blue Springs 189-pounder Lewis Foutz lost to Maurice Alexander of Eureka, 7-1. That’s a tough loss, but Alexander was probably still mad he finished about two seconds away from going to overtime in the semifinals, losing to Tommy Tuck of Fort Zumwalt West, 8-7.
