Blue Springs South closed the regular season on a high note.
Peri Irwin had two goals and two assists to lead the Jaguars to a home 10-0 Suburban Big Seven victory over William Chrisman Thursday night.
Courtney Codilla had two goals, Ashley Killian, Lauren Gilstrap, Kelly Gardner and Sam Thompson one goal each,  Brynn Abram one goal and one assist, Marissa Robb one goal and two assist and Casey Rausch two assists as the Jaguars improved to 8-9 overall and finished 6-6 in the conference. Chrisman fell to 1-18 and 0-12.
“It was nice to end the regular season with a win,” South coach Todd Findley said. “A lot of different players played different positions on the field and we got new goal scorers on the board.”
Kirsten Warren and Torie Murillo didn’t have to record a save for the shutout in a game with eight minutes remaining because of the mercy rule..
South was a 5-0 junior varsity winner.
FORT OSAGE 10, GRANDVIEW 0: Fort Osage realized one of its season goals.
The Indians rolled to an easy 10-0 victory over Grandview to finish 5-5 in the Suburban Middle Six.
“To finish the conference season .500 was one of our goals,” Fort Osage coach Andrew Fletcher said. “That’s a big improvement. We are looking forward to districts.”
Heather Nunamaker had three goals and one assist, Jade Bedsworth two goals and two assists, A.J. Taylor one goal and two assists, Bailey Beale two goals and  two assists and Kelsey Daugherty and Rachel England one goal each for Fort Osage (9-12 overall). Daugherty and Valerie Resch combined for one save for the shutout.
The Indians coasted after taking a 7-0 halftime lead.
The game was stopped after 74 minutes because of the mercy rule.
Fort Osage also rolled 10-0 in the junior varsity game.
LEE’S SUMMIT COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN 10, VAN HORN 0: Taylor Harmon scored four goals and Jennifer Rogers two to power Lee’s Summit Community Christian past visiting Van Horn. Katlyn Kralik, Christiana Trupe, Lauren Benson and Anna Auffert each scored one goal.
“We played a lot harder in the second half,” Van Horn coach Mike Somodi said. “It was too bad we fell behind so badly.”
LSCC led 9-0 at halftime. The game ended in the 75th minute because of the mercy rule.
LEE’S SUMMIT NORTH 10, NORTH KANSAS CITY 0: Morgan Marlborough has outdone herself.
She scored seven goals to power North to an easy Suburban Big Seven victory over visiting North Kansas City. The seven goals lifted her season’s total to 58, breaking last year’s total of 57.
“It was important for our team and important for Morgan to break the record,” North coach Tim Richardson said. ‘She set a goal to surpass her previous tally and she has accomplished that.”
Marlborough has scored 58 of North’s 89 goals. Four of her goals Thursday night were unassisted.
Sali Stout scored two goals and Sydney one goal and assisted on two for North (17-3 overall, 10-2 conference).
Caroline Stanley made five saves for the shutout. The game was halted after 64 minutes because of the mercy rule.
North posted a 5-0 victory in the junior varsity game.
LEE’S SUMMIT WEST 11, HICKMAN MILLS 0: Lee’s Summit West clinched a repeat undisputed Suburban Small Seven title by rolling past host Hickman Mills.
“I am proud of the  girls in that respect,” West coach Todd Krey said of the conference title.
Kirsten Vollmer’s three goals, Katie Davis’ one goal and three assists and Kelsey Ewert two goals and one assists powered the Titans (17-4 overall, 9-0 conference).
Jacque Dedovesh had one goal and one assist, Alexa Bondon one goal and two assists and Lynette Lartey, Mollie Harmon and Ashley Callahan one goal each.
The goal was stopped at halftime because of the mercy rule. Kati Dittmann didn’t have to make a safe for the shutout.
