SCHOOL: Fort Osage
HIGHLIGHTS: Won the 100 (12.43 seconds) and 200 meters (26.33) while serving on a pair of second-place relays for Fort Osage in the Class 4 District 8 Tournament Saturday. She helped the Indians place second as a team behind district champion Liberty.
COACH’S COMMENT: “She started building toward this meet and ran well,” Indians coach J.D. Snead said. “She’s not known to be a great starter She’s been concentrating on that. But if she gets out to a lead, she’s not someone people are going to be able to run down. She’s developed well (as a sprinter).”
