As the years go by, we always hear, the time seems to slip by more and more quickly.What seemed like an eternity when we were kids — just a month or so — can fly by, it seems, in the time it takes to turn a calendar page.Thinking from one Christmas to the next as a child is incredibly different from the same exercise as an adult.The same goes for birthdays, of course.The older we get, the sooner they seem to come around.
