Start Smart Baseball
Preparation program for organized T-ball, baseball and softball for ages 3-5 in a fun, non-competitive environment with parent interaction. Six-session class meets 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Young Park from June 2 to June 18. Cost is $60 per person and includes ball and bat set, glove, koosh ball and participant’s manual. Cost is $45 per person for returning participants who already have the equipment. Blue Springs Athletic Association Basketball
League basketball competition is offered for boys and girls in grades 2-12. Registration takes place in late October, with the season running from December through early March. Contact Steve Hyde at 228-4994 from September through March.

BMX motocross
Riders ages 5 and older compete at the Blue Springs BMX race track at Pink Hill Park located at Missouri 7 and Park Road. Spring season begins in April with Tuesday and Friday evening races. American Bicycle Association membership is required and may be purchased at the track. NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition

Blue Springs Football League
Blue Springs Athletic Association Football offers flag football for grades K-2 and tackle football for grades 3-7. Registration is in early August, and season runs from mid-August through early November. Pop Warner Football League
Heart of America Pop Warner Football offers flag football for ages 5-8 and tackle football for ages 7-13. No tryouts or cuts. Teams and coaches stay together through the advancement of divisions. 2008 Skateboard Competition

Junior Golf Academy
Adams Pointe Golf Club Junior Clinics are scheduled for June, July and August. Three-day instructional clinics focus on fundamentals of golf, learning the full swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette. Three sessions available are June 9-11, July 7-9 and Aug. 4-6. Tennis Programs
18th Annual Blue Springs Summer Youth Tennis program at Young Park near Blue Springs South High School begins June 9. Program runs five weeks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. National Junior Tennis League is for ages 9-12 and runs 8-9:30 a.m. each day. Cost is $75 per person. Junior Team Tennis program is for ages 13-18 and runs 9:45-11:45 a.m. each day. Cost is $80 per person. All levels welcome, beginner to advanced. Learn or improve your strokes as you learn to play the game. Come to all sessions or the ones that fit your schedule.
