Blue Springs police were at the scene of a home where two people are holed up inside refusing to come out.

According to The Examiner’s news partner, KMBC, at lease of one of the two people in the home on Southwest Stonewood Court may be armed.

The standoff started following a hit-and-run crash on Monday afternoon on Keystone Drive. The victim of the hit-and-run crash does not have life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car sped away from the scene and parked in front of the house at Stonewood Court, according to KMBC.

Two other people were taken into custody, KMBC reported.
