Grain Valley, MO —
A Blue Springs man and an Oak Grove teenager died in a wreck late Wednesday.
It happened at about 11 p.m. at Buckner-Tarsney Road and Route FF (which Truman Road becomes east of Independence).
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Brian D. Ostrander, 18, of Oak Grove, was turning onto southbound Buckner-Tarsney in a 1983 Pontiac when his car was struck on the side by a northbound 2010 Harley-Davidson driven by John A. Guerra, 43, of Blue Springs.
Both were killed, and both vehicles were totaled. Ostrander was a senior at Grain Valley High School.
