Keeling – McMillen

Jane Keeling of Independence became the bride of Jeff McMillen of Kansas City in an evening ceremony June 21, 2008, at The Chapel at Cloud 9 Ranch in Caufield, Mo., that Jane’s grandfather, the late Lee Johnson, helped build. The Rev. Donald Scott officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Laura Keeling and Aubrey Keeling of Independence, and the parents of the bridegroom are Judy Noteboom of Lincoln, Neb., and Dennis McMillen of Bedford, Iowa.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri Western State, and a master’s degree in education from Northwest Missouri State. She has worked for the Fort Osage School District for 17 years, and is science teacher at Osage Trail Middle School.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in education from Peru State, and is employed by Trader’s Insurance in Kansas City.

The reception was held at Cloud 9 Ranch.

After a honeymoon in The Ozarks, Mr. and Mrs. McMillen are at home in Independence.
