Not very long ago, everyone on Facebook was sending around their “Lists of 25.” The idea was to write 25 random facts about yourself. I found mine this week and thought it was perfect for Date No. 4.

Not very long ago, everyone on Facebook was sending around their “Lists of 25.” The idea was to write 25 random facts about yourself. I found mine this week and thought it was perfect for Date No. 4.

This will be Part 1 of 2.

Erica’s 13

1. I thought this list thing was really lame until some really cool people tagged me and thus changed my mind. Those people include but are not limited to: Katie, Courtney, Ileah, Marissa, and ...

2. I graduated from college in 2007. Since then, I have had 10 different jobs:

Kanakuk Kamp counselor Making High School Count motivational speaker AFTERdark event director Fellowship of Christian Athletes area rep. Family Christian Store Sales Associate Royals KCrew member “Extra Innings with the KCrew” blog writer High school Spanish and American Sign Language teacher Volleyball coach Columnist for The Examiner/Leavenworth TImes

That’s a lot of job interviews in less than three years, but that works out because I really love job interviews.

3. My orthodontist said I could stop wearing my retainer in 1998, yet I still wear it every single night. I’m afraid my teeth will move if I don’t. Please be proud of me, Dr. Indiveri.

4. I have trouble following movies sometimes. Especially ones that are in different countries and/or different time periods.

5. I save voicemails from people I like a lot in case they die.

6. For a long time, I wanted a boyfriend because I thought it looked cool when people were “in a relationship with” on Facebook. Now I have a boyfriend… and he doesn’t have Facebook lol.

7. I never grab the first item on the shelf at stores like Wal-Mart or Target. I have to reach back to the third or fourth one, because those are “better” in my mind.

8. I have a younger brother named Atticus. That alone is always cool to people, but then I tell them that at 19 he was married and a preacher. Sometimes even I get confused and think he’s older than me.

9. I think I’m much more intelligent than my ACT score reveals, so sometimes I lie about it. I don’t give myself some ridiculous high score like a 35, but just a more accurate score for what I feel I deserve.

10. I adore being outside. I mean adore it. If I can find a way to take an activity outside, i.e., my classes, brushing my teeth, sleeping – I do. I think after seven summers of lifeguarding and living in a tepee for six weeks at camp that I might truly have an addiction to the sun.

11. I think my dad knows everything. Probably because he does.

12. My favorite place in all of the world is church camp. I can’t even begin to express my love for the amaziness that is camp in this little space that is #12.

13. This is one of my favorite numbers. The other one is 35. These were my volleyball and basketball numbers in high school, and I’m still a bit obsessive about them, i.e., every morning I wake up at 5:35 instead of 5:30.

To be continued next week.   And Karen, details to come soon.  Three words – New. York. City. More details soon!
