  • Dallas Claude Wagner Sr., 84, Buckner, Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
    Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner. Burial will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
    Dallas was born December 15, 1928, in Denver, Colo., the son of Claude and Della Ruth (Hartgrave) Wagner. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in World War II. Dallas retired from ABF Trucking in 1991 after 42 years, but continued to drive trucks until just recently. He was a member of the VFW Post 8101 and a member of the First Baptist Church in Buckner. Dallas enjoyed life and knew how to work on, build or fix just about everything. He always offered a helping hand to anyone, whether he knew them or not.
    Survivors include his loving wife, Annabelle Wagner of 52 years; daughter, Marcia Lynn Francis and husband, Jack; sons, David Bruce Patrick and wife, Gerrie M., and Carl Ray Wagner and wife, Kitty; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Cotton. He was preceded in death by his sons, Dallas Wagner Jr. and Jimmy Wagner; brother, Doug Wagner; sister, Eleanor Anderson; and his parents.
