A stranger eating grass like a horse on West Maple attracted attention. It was found that he had fallen down on the grass, as if either drunk or in an epileptic fit. He was taken to the police station. Not being able to give his name or any satisfactory account of his condition, he was kept there overnight under the name of “John Doe.” He was released the next morning and left town.
