The Blue Springs South girls golf team finished first in the Suburban Big Seven tournament Monday at the par 72 Paradise Point.

The Blue Springs South girls golf team finished first in the Suburban Big Seven tournament Monday at the par 72 Paradise Point.

The Jaguars’ finished with a team score of 395. Jordan Rehkow led South with a 92. Amanda Sinclair shot a 98 to finish sixth for the Jaguars. Gretchen Cuchera shot a 102 and finished 10th for South.

Lee’s Summit North finishing second with a 401 being led by medalist Chloe Kittle who shot an 82. North’s Kelsey Freeland finished fourth with a 95. Kristin Stidham, Raymore-Peculiar, finished second with a 91. Blue Springs’ Daniel Messick finished ninth with a 102.

“Overall the scores for our conference were high today,” Wildcats coach Jill Courter said. “I was hoping for a little better performance as a team, because I know we are capable of playing better than we did.”

Liberty finished third in the meet with a 402. Raymore-Peculiar finished fourth with a 420. Blue Springs finished fifth shooting a 427. Lee’s Summit finished sixth shooting a 434.

SUBURBAN MIDDLE SEVEN: Park Hill South took first in the Suburban Middle Seven conference tournament with a score of 419. Belton finished second with a score of 438. Winnetonka’s Emma Windham took first with a score of 90. Raytown’s Victoria Lund eanred all-conference honors finishing in fourth with a score of 104.
