  • A man was arrested after allegedly intentionally striking another man on a bicycle with his car Wednesday afternoon in Blue Springs.
Police say the suspect, described by Blue Springs police spokesperson Jeremy Dickstein as a “20- or 21-year-old male,” struck a 20-year-old male while he was riding his bike in the 2800 block of Northwest Kingsridge Drive at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Dickstein said the 20-year-old male was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was able to talk to detectives.
