Charles Raymond Chrisco, 80, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at his residence.

Charles was born May 19, 1931, in Round Springs, Missouri. He served his country honorably in the US Army during Korea. Charles was Chief of Police in Wellington, MO, for eight and a half years, retiring in 1992. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darci and Mary and Chrisco; grandchild, D.J. Amos; brothers, Darrell, Dale and Jim Chrisco.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Wilma Chrisco; children, Debra Amos, Patty Rincon and her husband, Antonio, and Dan Chrisco and his wife, Judith; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Peck, Marcella Walker, Mickey Layman and Debbie Kassene; brothers, Ronald and Moses Chrisco.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 30000 E. Valor Drive, Grain Valley, MO, with a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2011, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Swan Lake Memorial Park, Grain Valley.
