  • Kaitlyn Conner is quite the star. Ever since she started wowing audiences in Blue Springs with her roller skating talent, she’s moved on to television. She has appeared on several shows, including late night talk shows. She’s called the “Limbo Queen,” and for good reason. The Examiner caught up with her recently once again to see what’s up.
    1. For those who don’t know you (and there are few), can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Kaitlyn Conner I am 15 years old. I have grown up in Blue Springs. I love roller skating, cheerleading, singing, acting and hanging out with my friends.
    2. Is it true you have a new show on television? Can you tell us about it?
Yes, I appear on a new show on television on Nickelodeon called “Figure It Out.” The show has four celebrity judges that try to guess your crazy or awesome talent by asking yes or no questions. The show is hosted by Jeff Sutphen.
    3. What new moves, acts, have you come up with in the last couple of years?
In the last couple of years I have incorporated some of my cheerleading moves into my roller skating talent, such as The Scorpion and dance moves like The Moon Walk.
    4. Most kids give up on their talents. Why are you so different, and what’s the secret?
I don’t know that I am different, I just do what I love and follow my passion. Never give up on your dreams! You only fail when you don’t try. My secret for success is to do what you love and what makes you happy.
    5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years – wow! I don’t know? All I can tell you is that if I have it my way, I will be in California pursuing my dream of being an actress.
