Ryan J. Muller, 18, the son of Jim and Jennifer Muller of Independence, has attained the elite rank of Eagle Scout.
Ryan J. Muller, 18, the son of Jim and Jennifer Muller of Independence, has attained the elite rank of Eagle Scout. He is sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church and his Eagle Court of Honor was Oct. 15.
Ryan joined Boy Scout Troop 282 in 2006 and has earned 31 merit badges. He has served his troop as Scribe, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Junior Assistant Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster, and is currently Assistant Scoutmaster. His major scouting awards include Scout of the Year for 2007 and 2009, and God and Country in 2008.
He has attended scout camp seven years and is a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. His tribal name is Tom-Tom Beater Little Mighty Black Bear.
His Eagle Project was transforming attic space into storage area, laying a floor and building shelves.
He is a senior at William Chrisman High School, and is active in tennis and the Spanish Club. He is also a Distinguished Expert with the NRA Junior Marksmanship Program.
