Bauml scored 15 points, while Smith added 12 as St. Mary’s dominated Kansas City Lutheran 57-30 in a home victory.
The Trojan duo nearly outscored Lutheran by themselves.
“We played well as a team and everyone played and scored,” Trojans coach Krista Daniels said. “We hit a lot of shots in the first half. It was a good win for us.”
St. Mary’s (9-5) controlled the game early, building a 33-16 lead at halftime.
NOTRE DAME DE SION 47, RAYTOWN 40: The host Stars doubled up Raytown in the fourth quarter to earn a win Tuesday.
Tied at 33-33, Sion outscored the Blue Jays (9-6) 14-7 in the final quarter to pick up the win.
“We did what we needed to do offensively and defensively to win a game,” Raytown coach Jan Handley said. “The fourth quarter hurt us. We went 1 of 7 on free throws. They got three straight rebounds from the foul line.”
Jaleisha Barrett led Raytown with 12 points.
