Four new administrators have been hired for the 2012-13 school year in the Raytown School District.

Four new administrators have been hired for the 2012-13 school year in the Raytown School District.


Marlene Devilbiss was named as principal of Eastwood Hills Elementary. She has been with the district for 17 years as a teacher, Title I reading instructor, literacy coach and director of extended learning and federal programs.


Danielle Miles will be principal at Blue Ridge Elementary. She has been with the district since 2006 and has served as a teacher and administrative intern at Laurel Hills and Spring Valley elementary schools. Miles replaces principal Dave Trewhitt, who is retiring.


Lori Forte will be principal of Raytown Success Academy, the district’s alternative school. She has been with the district since 2008 and has served in as a summer school principal and Special Education Process Coordinator and Behavior Coach.


Shunton Hammond will be an assistant principal and activities director at Raytown South High School. Hammond comes to Raytown from the Grandview School District, where he was a high school assistant principal and high school principal.
