In October 2006, members of the Blue Springs Police Street Crimes Unit responded to the address of 101 S.E. Alger Drive to conduct a “knock and talk” after numerous drug complaints were received by the police department in regards to illegal drug activity.
The Street Crimes Unit made contact with the resident, and explained the reason for them contacting her.  The resident agreed to allow the Street Crimes Unit and the police department’s canine search her residence for illegal drugs. The search was conducted and methamphetamine was located, as well as miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
 Subsequent investigation resulted in warrants being issued for Possession of Controlled Substances and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for Roselie A. Alexander. Alexander remains at large.
