Here's your lunch menu for the week of June 2, 2008.
Here is a list of school lunches being served at area schools for the week beginning June 2. Milk available with all lunches.
Independence elementary schools
Monday: Hot dog/bun, macaroni/cheese, green beans, orange wedges.
Tuesday: Cheese pizza, tossed salad, applesauce cup, Rice Crispy treat.
Wednesday: Spaghetti/meatballs, breadstick, carrots, mixed fruit/kiwi and strawberries.
Thursday: Barbecue baked chicken chips, steak fries, veggie dippers/ranch dressing, melon/strawberries.
Friday: Sloppy Joe/bun, baked Cheetos, peas, grapes.
Independence middle schools
Monday: Shaved turkey sandwich or hot dog/bun, steak fries, fiesta ranch vegetables, orange wedges.
Tuesday: Soft chicken taco or sub sandwich, mixed green salad, Spanish rice, diced peaches.
Wednesday: Chicken patty or Philly steak sandwich, roll, mashed potatoes/gravy, peas, orange gelatin/pineapple.
Thursday: Pepperoni pizza, hamburger or cheeseburger, carrots/celery sticks/ranch dressing, grapes, chocolate chip cookie.
Friday: Beef ravioli/breadsticks or spicy chicken tenders, green salad, broccoli Normandy, rosy applesauce.
Fort Osage Schools
Monday: Meatball sandwich, tater tots, baked beans, apple.
Tuesday: Lasagna roll-up/spaghetti sauce, roll, combination salad/dressing, steamed broccoli, mandarin oranges.
Wednesday: Southwest pizza, tossed salad/dressing, corn, peanut butter cookie.
Thursday: Ham/cheese wraps, kid munchies, vegetables/dip, chocolate pudding.
Friday: Chicken nuggets/sauces, macaroni/cheese, green beans, chilled pineapple.
Lee’s Summit elementary schools
Available daily: Baked potato entree, yogurt entree and peanut butter/jelly.
Monday: No school.
Tuesday: Pepperoni pizza, corn, rosy pears, fresh fruit.
Wednesday: Chicken nuggets, mashed potato/gravy, peaches, fresh fruit, roll.
Thursday: Chicken patty/bun, carrots/dip, cinnamon apples, fresh fruit.
Friday: Nachos/cheese, seasoned broccoli, fruit for salad.
Raytown elementary schools
Monday: Burrito or peanut butter jammer, Mexicali vegetables, peaches, ice cream.
Tuesday: Chicken nuggets or peanut butter jammer, baked beans, mixed fruit, pudding.
Wednesday: Shrimp poppers or peanut butter jammer, peas, mandarin oranges, bug bites.
Thursday: Cheeseburger or peanut butter jammer, baked chips, carrots, frozen fruit bar.
Friday: Pizza or peanut butter jammer, lettuce salad, mixed vegetables, peach cup.
