1 What advice do you have for next year’s freshmen?
Set a measurable goal for your high school years that you really want to achieve. For me, it was to get all As, but it can be as simple as taking more advanced courses or getting better at a subject.
2 Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Trusty was my favorite teacher. The breadth of his knowledge combined with his class structure and teaching attitude made every class an awesome experience. His corny jokes were great too.
3 When you were not in school or studying, what did you most enjoy doing?
I love video games. Typical right? Long walks on the beach are great too, though I’ve only been on 3 or 4. Hanging out with friends is also something I enjoy doing.
4 What college do you plan to attend and why?
I am going to Truman State University to a combination of the fact that my sister went there and their reputation for academic excellence.
5 What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
Ideally, I’d like to be Tony Stark from iron Man. If that doesn’t work out, I think I’ll look for a job as a game designer somewhere near a large body of salty water. I also want to own an Audi. You know, since that’s what Iron Man drives. Hey, a kid’s got to have a dream.
