Before the Missouri Mavericks play host to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at 7:05 p.m. Friday, the team will offer Black Friday specials from 10 a.m. to noon at the Top Shelf Team Store at Independence Events Center.

 - The Mavericks will open up Sections 112 and 113 so the public can watch the Mavericks pre-game skate starting at 10 a.m.

- LaMar’s Donuts will provide free doughnuts and juice and coffee will be available for Mavs fans.

- The Top Shelf Team Store is giving a 15 percent discount to all fans and a 25 discout discount to season ticket holders for any merchandise in the team store.

- Fans who purchase a minimum of $50 in tickets for Saturday’s game will receive a free cotton short-sleeve T-shirt of their choice from the team store

- The Mavericks are also asking fans to bring in canned foods and basic first aid items for Hillcrest Transitional Housing (www.hillcrestkc.org).  Any fan who makes a donation will receive an autographed Mavericks puck courtesy of Santa Fe Glass.

- Game Kart, the Mobile Video Game Theater, will be outside the team store with games on four Wiis, three PS3s and four Xbox 360s.

- On Friday night, the Mavericks will host Veteran Recognition night at the Independence Events Center. The City of Independence donated two tickets to the two city suites, which were in turn given to local veterans able to attend Friday’s game.

The Mavericks play four games in five nights this week.  They start in Bossier-Shreveport tonight before heading home to play three games surrounding Thanksgiving.

Missouri will play host to Bloomington on Wednesday and Rio Grande Valley Friday and Saturday nights. All home games begin at 7:05 p.m. and tickets are available for every Mavericks home game through the end of the season.
