The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at 19th and Broadway. It blocked traffic on Broadway for about 11⁄2 hours.

The southern part of Oak Grove was without power for several hours as Kansas City Power and Light linemen worked to restore electricity.

About 2,000 customers were without power. Electricity was restored within two hours, according to a KCP&L spokeswoman.

There were no reported injuries from the accident, officials said.
