  • After a brief stint as president and CEO of Community Services League, Jerry Jensen last week was named the president and CEO of an Overland Park, Kan.-based nonprofit organization.
Jensen is now the president/CEO of Marillac. He was named as CSL's president/CEO last August and officially started on Jan. 2.
On March 15, Doug Cowan was named as the new CSL top executive, having served as the interim CEO for most of 2012 as a nationwide search took place for a new leader.
Marillac began in 1897 as a home for abandoned and orphaned boys in Kansas City, and throughout the years, the organization has evolved into a psychiatric facility for children and adolescents, including the only children's psychiatric hospital in Johnson County, Kan., a residential treatment center, a therapeutic day school and other specialized services.
