Donald E. Thuma, 35, Carlsbad, NM, formerly of Independence, Missouri, and Pittsburg, KS, died unexpectedly on April 10, 2011, in New Mexico.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055.

Donny was born November 13, 1975, in Ft. Scott, KS, and grew up in Pittsburg, KS, and Independence, MO.  While in Independence, he attended William Chrisman High School. He managed the Burger King in Pittsburg, KS, for many years and counted many of his regular customers as friends. He loved the UFC and WWE and enjoyed watching the big events with his friends.

Donny was preceded in death by his grandparents Betty & Paul Rahe and cousin John Rahe-Epperly.  

He is survived by his mother, Mary (Rahe) Thuma; sisters, Sheina Falcone and husband, Matt, and Sovannah Rahe; nephew, Jaryd Falcone; and niece, Madison Falcone, all of Columbia, MO.
