  • Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Gicinto, 52, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011, at Truman Lakewood Hospital.

  • Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Gicinto, 52, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011, at Truman Lakewood Hospital.  
    Services will be from 2 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055.  Burial will be in Floral Hills East Cemetery.  
    The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2011, at the chapel.  
    Donations may be made to the MS Society.  
    Barbara was born January 3, 1959, in Iowa City, IA, to Terrance and Jacqueline (Tucker) Berridge.  She later moved to Independence and was a 1977 graduate of Truman High School.  She worked as a medical transcriptionist for Kansas City Cardiology.  She enjoyed reading, yard work and movies.  
    She is survived by two daughters, Whitney Gicinto and Courtney Gicinto, both of Blue Springs, MO; a grandson, Connor Krough, of Blue Springs, MO; a sister, Teresa Turner, of Independence, MO and a brother, Scott Berridge, of Lee’s Summit, MO.  
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Berridge.
