Caroletta Ogle, 69, of Independence and Laclede, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at her home in Independence.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 29, at 2 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield with Rev. Sue Lambert officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday, at 1 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 in the evening. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede. Caroletta Mae, daughter of Arthur and Fern (Riddle) Peavler, was born November 14, 1938, near North Salem. On August 17, 1955, she married Karl Eugene Ogle who preceded her in death April 28, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Deloma Moore; and one brother, Alvin Peavler.

Survivors include one son, Delbert L. Ogle and wife, Sandy of Independence; one daughter, Teresa Speichinger and husband, Steve of Laclede; two grandsons, Brandon McDannald of Marshall and Quinton McDannald of Independence; three granddaughters, Emma Ogle, Haley Ogle, and Rachel Ogle all of Independence; two brothers, Doug Peavler of Rogers, Arkansas and Mert Peavler of Webb City; and a special friend, Bill Peacher of Laclede.
