With the Kansas City metro area bracing for the possibility of one to two inches of snow by day break this morning (Tuesday,) the Missouri Department of Transportation prepared itself overnight by enacting its area snow removal team equipped with 39,000 tons of salt, more than 200 trucks and more than 400 employees on stand-by, prepping for the storm.
