Keith Wilson, 82, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 23, 2010 in Denver, CO.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Mo.  

Funeral services and the Royal Order of Jesters will present the Traditional Rose Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the funeral home.  

Keith was born March 3, 1928 to Keith and Elizabeth Wilson.  He attended the Florida Military Academy, received his B.A., and J.D. degrees from the University of Kansas.  Keith was an associate of Stinson, Mag & Frizzell of Kansas City, and was Partner of Newhouse & Shaffer & Wilson of Independence.  He also was Missouri Assistant Attorney General and City Manager of Independence from 1980 to 1986.  Keith was the President and CEO for the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City. He was the founding director of the Big Brothers of Greater Kansas City, member of the Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite, Ararat Shrine Temple, Royal Order of Jesters, and Legion of Honor of DeMolay. Keith was a free lance author for the Independence Examiner and the Kansas City Star.  He was a trustee of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and a member of the Consular Corps of Kansas City.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Josserand Wilson.  

He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Wilson of Denver, CO, and his sister, Diane Whitcomb of Paradise, CA.
