Alice Elizabeth Brashear Cochran, 84, of Carmel, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 28, 2010.

Alice was born on November 18, 1925, in Marshall, Missouri, to the late William A. Brashear and Mattie L. Dollard Brashear. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched the lives of countless people and was a cherished friend to many.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, William D. Cochran; children, Peggy M. Land, Michael K. Moore, William L. (Bill) Cochran and wife, Monica; Melissa J., Missy Smith and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Antony Davidson, Elizabeth A. Norris Cacho and husband, Frank; Rachel Moore, Josh Moore, Sarah Moore, Megan E. Smith, Austin J. Smith, Thomas J. Smith, Cole Cochran and Eleanor R. Smith; great-grandchildren, Jessica A. Cacho, Noah F. Cacho and Logan S. Cacho.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 1, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Central Christian Church, of which Alice was a member and also where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010, at 11 a.m.

Many of you might remember Alice from Hook’s Drugs, CVS, or Meijer, all located in Carmel where she worked throughout the years. Her friendly smiles, loving hugs, genuine friendships, and motherly love will be greatly missed. This is not a final farewell, but a goodbye until we meet again in heaven.
