  • The William Chrisman wrestling team continues to pin Suburban Middle Seven opponents.
    Six pins helped the Bears defeat host Raytown 56-12 Tuesday night to remain undefeated in three conference matches.
    “The kids are wrestling really well,” Chrisman coach Mick Cronk said. “We were coming off a really good weekend. It was great to get Josh Wallace back on the mat. He really looked good for his first match in a couple of weeks.”
    Larry Davenport (106 pounds), Donovan Morrison (126), Derek Williams (132), Andy Bennett (132), Louis West (145), Deontay Lapsley (152), Josh Wallace (170), Taylor Blann (182), Dustin Cikan (195), Zack Soule (220) and Tomasi Tunione (285) were Chrisman winners.
    Davenport, Williams, Lapsley, Wallace, Cikan, and Soule were winners by a pin and Bennett by a major decision. Chrisman is 5-2 in duals.
