You’ve heard the phrase “Aging is inevitable, growing up is optional?” Many older people who have a great outlook on life don’t let age bother them. Dogs don’t realize they are old, even though they might have issues with sight and hearing, they still have an inner puppy that often comes out.

You’ve heard the phrase “Aging is inevitable, growing up is optional?” Many older people who have a great outlook on life don’t let age bother them. Dogs don’t realize they are old, even though they might have issues with sight and hearing, they still have an inner puppy that often comes out.

Animals Best Friends have several older dogs that really need good homes. Angel, Nova, Starr and Missy are considered seniors, but they still have a lot of life to live.

Angel is a 10-year-old beagle who enjoys attention and cuddling. She is so agile that she can climb a chain link fence. She enjoys walks and would be a good family dog or companion for an older adult.

Starr is a 10-year-old Lab/golden retriever mix. She is completely housebroken and enjoys going for walks. Starr really loves people.

Nova is a 7-year-old beagle. She enjoys her walks and the attention she gets from her caregivers.

Missy is a 9-year-old cocker spaniel mix. She is housebroken and enjoys her walks. Missy also likes to ride in the car.

All of these girls enjoy the company of other dogs and cats. Any of them would make a great family pet or even permanent foster dog. If you think that one of these girls would be a good fit for your family, please go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application.
