Independence Police say several calls that came in to police helped ensure the safety of a young Independence woman, Stormy D. Declements, 20, who was kidnapped Saturday evening.

On Saturday night, police released the names and photos of three suspects – Christopher B. Harker, 28, of Independence, Brent  T. Warren, of Kansas City, and Kimberly L. Fulton, 25, also of Kansas City. No suspect is yet in custody, and police are also looking for a fourth, unidentified suspect, said Independence police spokesman Tom Gentry.

Gentry said that at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday intruders broke into the apartment at 500 Sundown Drive, near U.S. 24 and Sterling Avenue, beat the resident and kidnapped Declements. He said Declements was staying with the apartment’s resident.

Later that night, Declements was released, Gentry said.
