Independence residents have several more opportunities to learn about the police general real estate tax issue on the April 3 ballot.


Two meetings will take place on March 8. One starts at 6 p.m. at the Hocker Heights Housing Authority office, 300 N. Hocker.


The District 2 meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army fellowship hall, 14700 E. Truman Road.


Residents are invited to attend any of the meetings, even if it takes place outside of their City Council district jurisdiction.
