A concerted effort is being made to call the attention of Washington officials to qualifications of the 4th District regarding NASA’s possible $60 million manned space flight laboratory for the development of the moon shot program, Apollo. In a recent letter to the administrator of NASA, William J. Randall (D-Mo.), enumerated the advantages of the 4th Congressional District as a site for the government project. Area chamber representatives will get-together and discuss ways to woo the NASA project to this area.
