Mark Cordes, a Truman High School Class of 1973 graduate, has been  hailed him as a “One-Man Laugh Factory.” His television credits include “Comic Strip Live,” “Caroline’s Comedy Hour” and “An Evening at the Improv.”

Cordes is returning to his home state for a benefit performance for Truman High School. Cordes will perform Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Improv in Zona Rosa, 7430 N.W. 87th St., Kansas City.

His opening night dinner performance at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday is a benefit for Truman High School. The regular price is $16; however, guests that evening will be charged $10 per person with all of the evening’s proceeds going to the high school.

His other shows are a 7:30 p.m. dinner show Friday, with a 9:45 p.m. regular show; 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. dinner shows Saturday, and a 7 p.m. dinner show Sunday.
