To the city, to the street department and to the Independence School District: What happened to the sidewalk that was started on 32nd Street many years ago in front of Three Trails School? It was never completed from Crysler to Sterling avenues. Why?

The children walking to and from school are in jeopardy twice a day as they try to navigate in and on 32nd St., while buses deliver children, teachers report to work and parents in cars deliver their children. Little ones must navigate this congestion while crossing the street to walk against the traffic and again cross the street to enter the school or return to their home. Plus the regular traffic during this time of day.

If this were adults having this navigation problem, they would be “raising hell” with someone to alleviate their frustration. Is anyone out there in agreement? Frankly, I don’t want that “no” guy telling me why it is not doable. Let’s “get ’er done” now before a child gets killed!
