What advice do you have for next year’s freshmen?
Love life right now. Don’t try to be older than you are because you’ll miss high school.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
Mrs. Harker because she was passionate about not only her subject, but about her kids. It was apparent how much she wanted us to succeed.
When you were not in school or studying, what did you most enjoy doing?
Anything to do with music - choir, band and just siting in my room listening to music.
What college do you plan to attend and why?
The University of Missouri-Columbia because I’ve kind of always wanted to go there and they have so many options and programs that if I change my mind, I won’t have to change schools.
What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
Having my own therapy practice, raising one or two kids with a husband and probably still living in Missouri.
