Billy Cargill, 90, of Sibley, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, at his home.

Billy was born August 25, 1921, in Marlette, Mich., to Walter and Margaret (McDonald) Cargill. Mr. Cargill retired from the Chrysler Engine Plant in Trenton, Mich., in 1980. He was a faithful and active member of the church. Billy enjoyed horses and trail riding in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife Juliette (Cooper) Cargill; and her daughters Veronica Bathurst and husband David, Linda Heisner; Bill’s children Dan Cargill and wife Connie, Colleen Sutherland and husband Tom; grandchildren Matthew, Timothy, Katherine, Dean, Charity Ann, Julie, Laura, Carrie; nine great-grandchildren; brothers J.D. Cargill, Jack Cargill. Billy was preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta, and brother Wayne.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. at Missionary Restoration Branch Church, 345 Elsea Smith Rd., Buckner, MO 64016. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial in Michigan Memorial Cemetery, Flat Rock, Mich., on Friday, June 1, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church Missionary Fund.
