1 What are the three most important issues facing the 55th District, and how do you plan to address them?
A soaring 9.2 percent unemployment and the declining and vast underfunding of Missouri schools are the top issues facing the state of Missouri and District 55.  We at the state must fully fund the school foundation formula to keep our schools great. We can help get people back to work by creating tax incentives for Missouri businesses to creat jobs and cutting red tape that is currently hindering small businesses from thriving.
2 Are there any specific Blue Springs issues you plan to make Jefferson City aware of?
As I have knocked on door after door in District 55, I have learned that many people are concerned with the vast expansion of power in Washington, and they don’t want to see the same happen in Jefferson City.
3 What are your thoughts regarding a proposed jobs bill that will help the Missouri Innovation Park in Blue Springs?
I completely support the Missouri Innovation Park concept as it will help to create many jobs in District 55 over the long-term, and I will support legislation to move this project forward.
4 What three areas should get first priority for added spending when the economy recovers and state, county and local revenues improve?
Schools should be first on the list, followed by tax incentives for job creation and general income tax cuts.
